  Completely disappointed with the level of incompetence from this agent. This was my situation. I ve been insured by State Farm prior 1997. Y One claim in 20 years of being a client. Back in 2016, a letter was sent to me that they would be running a credit check which I found to be obscure considering my history. I was in the process of switching banks so my auto payment returned. Hence I was required to pay the premium which I did. About 30 days past and I recieved a notice from the DMV that my licence was going to be suspended due to no insurance coverage. I went to the agency to inquire the status of the policy. The agent realized the payment that was made was credited to a policy that was not mine. The error was corrected on site but reality was that My vehicle had no coverage during that period. This happened in April. The agent assured me I have coverage till July. The agent also assured me that I would be billed for the remaining balance of my premium. Days later I received a summary with the premium of $661 not showing the payment that was made. A week or so passed and I received another summary showing the premium of $771. June comes around and I recieve a statement requiring a payment of $1028 and that my policy would be canceled on June 29th. I received a letter from the winter haven stating that my mother had called to issue a compliant, from a separate incident, against the agent and they would like to speak with me about the details as my mother was not on my policy so they would not be able to discuss the details with her. Ironically, she is listed on my policy. Either way, I found the letter tobe derogatory and some what passive aggressive. I called and spoke to Kasia Bourgeous and explained the entire issue. She stated that it seemed like a billing issue and she would have someone contact me with in 7 days. I explained to her that the policy would expire in 2 days. She said someone will contact me a soon as posible. Well today my policy lapsed and have yet to receive any word from the corporate office. I found the exact same coverage for less through Geico. Its really sad how such a insurance provider cares so little about their long term clients. The sole purpose of this review is enlighten the reader the complete lack of care and professionalism from all branches of State Farm.
