- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Avoid this doctor at all costs! The complaints i have for this doctor are endless. I had a lumbar discectomy at the L4-L5. I was discharged one hour after waking up from surgery. The next day i was unable to stand or walk on my own and developed a fever with uncontrolled pain. Went to the ER and Dr Gervin told them to send me home, this was normal. They admitted me anyway and later that day my fever was up to 102.7 and I was severely dehydrated. Fast forward to today, i am 10 weeks post op and have only seen him once. He cancelled six appointments with me. I am still having issues and am stuck. Frustrating beyond belief.April 25, 2017by Christina Villanueva
