  MOST CARELESS DOCTOR I HAVE EVER SEEN I have been a very happy patient of Dr. Gutierrez at this practice since I was a teenager (I am now 30). She has always been very attentive of my needs and taken great care with my body and skin. However, I recently learned she is a family doctor so I decided to see the in-house dermatologist to have a plantar wart removed. I COMPLETELY REGRET CHANGING TO DR. KHOURI. She was in a rush to finish with me and did not take the time to answer my questions. She cut and froze 2 small plantar warts and one medium one, and didn't explain ANYTHING regarding the recovery. Immediately after the procedure my entire foot swelled and within 2 hours I could not put my foot on the ground. The medium wart area turned black, has been constantly bleeding and is completely protruding out of my skin. I was NOT made aware that any of this would occur. I find it completely inconsiderate that the doctor did not explain the possible side affects from the cryotherapy especially considering it is a holiday weekend. My cousin who is a doctor has had to send me crutches. Had I known I wouldn't be able to wear shoes or put my foot on the ground I would have waited to do this procedure at another time. MORE IMPORTANTLY, I expressed my deep concern over a skin issue I've been dealing with for years. I told the doctor what a negative affect it has had on my life and my struggle to find a good doctor who will try to cure it. She simply shrugged her shoulders, gave a very vague explanation of why there's nothing she could do at the moment, and said, "there's too much happening at once, let's focus on the wart". I will NEVER again go back to Dr. Khouri. My mother was equally shocked with her lack of compassion and attention. UPDATE: the abovementioned occurred 3 months ago. My foot has not healed and since the procedure I am dealing with constant pain and discomfort including an inability to walk on anything but a smooth surface.
